The Celiac's Library…Books About Gluten Free Living
Posted on 7:56 am by Gluten Free GuyThe Gluten Free Bible is the most important book in any celiac's library. It has specific ideas and suggestions, but it is most helpful in talking about the attitudes and feelings that are so important to the successful celiac.
I'm a great fan of the ".…For Dummies" series of how-tobooks. I consult this series whenever I need concrete information to solve specific problems. I do object to the title. Celiac's are not dummies, but were certainly face a unique set of challenges.
Beyond Rice Cakes was written by a young journalism student who was diafnosed with celiac disease soon after she began college. The other two books are guides to gluten free restaurants. They provide a great deal of information that will help in your quest for a gluten free meal.
The cookbooks pictured above include the words "a mother who knows" and "mother necessity" on the covers. These are good descriptions of anyone who is comfortable cooking food that is both gluten free and casein free.
Here are two books recommended for adults who love youngsters with celiac disease.
