Chain Restaurants Serving Gluten Free Meals

The restaurant chains listed below provide gluten free options on their menus. In each case, I have listed the name of the restaurant chain, a list of their locations, and a link to the chain's gluten free menu or list of suggestions. In many cases, I have included a brief comment from the internet site that will give you some idea of what these eating places are like.

Are these establishments safe havens for the gluten free? I don't know. None of them can offer a totally gluten free environment, so cross contamination is always a possiblity. In many of these places, a large number of relatively untrained workers perform their duties in a a relatively small space.

The good news is that each of these establishments is supervised by a large — often a national — organization, that exercises quality control and will do its best to make sure that individual outlets do not make promises they can't keep.

I have dated each entry to indicate when the information was collected and verified.
