Halloween Recipes for Gluten Free Children

0 Comments 11 September 2012

This article contains recipes for  edible Halloween decorations, not food gluten free food in the usual sense of that term. Not all the recipes are gluten free, but the substitutions should be obvious and keep in mind that the important thing is not what the item tastes like but what it looks like.

You may wish to have your young, computer-savvy children look at the articles and tell you which ones they prefer and what must be done to make each recipe to make each recipe ‘safe’. I emphasized articles that were well photographed in my recommendations. They should excite the enthusiasm of young Halloweeners.

Try these four articles:  “Family Fun: 25 Spooky Halloween Recipes“, “Spooktacular Halloween Recipes for Kids“, “Simple Holiday Recipes for Kids from the Readers Digest“, and “Halloween Recipes from Amazing Moms“.

Since food coloring is an essential ingredient in these recipes, it is important to have ‘safe’ food coloring. Click here for an article dealing with that issue.

Gluten Free Food & Ingredients Choices

To find out if any food or ingredient is (or can be) gluten free, type the name of the item that concerns you in the search box in the top right corner of the screen. Your computer will generate a special page for you containing the title and first few sentences of any of my articles that deal with that topic. It will also connect you if you want to read the whole article.
