Gluten Free Dating

2 Comments 12 February 2010

Here, just in time for Valentine’s Day, are strategies for people living gluten free of who have no intention of letting gluten intolerance interfere with their dating.

E-how.com has posted these suggestions. I particularly appreciated their advice “don’t discuss the really yucky parts” until the relation has blossomed. As always, e-how.com is very practical and easy to read.

This article talks about how to manage a dinner invitation from someone who is not aware of your gluten free diet.

♦ Here is a link to an on-line dating service for people living gluten free. Since I have been married since before the internet came into being, I won’t try to discuss this site. But I will supply the link for anyone who may need it.

  1. Hey – Chicago’s Pizza announced this week that they have Gluten-Free Pizza Crust. And you can buy it frozen. So no having a date – gluten free is never a problem again!

They have 5 locations on the north side with a couple of the locations full restaurants with liquor, party rooms and everything. According to the press release, http://www.ewebwire.com/freepressrelease/article/gluten-free-pizza-crust-at-chicago-%27s-pizza-take-it-home-frozen%21-274-1.html the owner has perfected the recipe and says their stuffed deep-dish pizza has been named 4 times best pizza in Chicago.

The Italian menu is extensive and vegan and kid friendly too! Pastas, sandwiches, salads… The best part is even if you don’t live on the area you can stock up on the famous Chicago style stuffed pizzas frozen. Now wheat allergy sufferers can heat-and-eat Chicago’s Pizza anytime right from their own freezer. They have great premier pizzas but you can call in your custom order and they will make you frozen pizzas to take home and cook when every you want, exactly with the topping you want. Ha-Ha! It even makes a Great Gift from Chicago! And did I mention they deliver till 5am. Every day! If you order from their Italian kitchen on-line http://www.chicagos-pizza.com you get FREE soda!

So go to one of the Chicago’s Pizzas with a bar or two of the locations are byob – or have it delivered or order a few frozen and heat them up as a date at home!
