Pizza Works in Suburban Seattle

0 Comments 18 December 2009

I enjoyed a great pizza at Pizza Works in the Seattle suburb of Bothell. I sometimes suspect that my friends go to “safe” pizza places primarily to placate me (and I deeply appreciate their courtesy) but in this case everyone seemed to be having a ball. It reminded me of the places I visited prior to my diagnosis. This pizzeria is one of my host’s favorite places and he admitted that he was sometimes curious about what “gluten free” meant.

I appreciated the menu that included detailed information about all allergens. They offer a yeast free pizza crust, which the menu writer admitted was “better than nothing”. I’m sure that he was equally honest when describing the restaurant’s gluten free options.

I loved their freezer case filled with gluten free snacks. I was facing a long drive the following day so I stocked up.
