Today I launched my Gluten Free Beer power page. Click here or use the tab at the top of the page to pay a visit. The page summarizes everything I know about gluten free beer at this time. I’m sure there is much more information out there, and I hope that you’ll be part of my mission to find that information and make it available to America’s gluten free community. Please leave comments at the end of this or any article or e-mail me at gfceliac@gmail.com.
“Prost”. I remember that word for years I spent living and working in Germany and enjoying beer that was originally created by Monks as part of their religious duty.

I have loved ales for years… Just went gluten free this year and have tried a few beers. My favorite so far is “Bards”. I have tried, Redbridge, New Grist and Greens and so far Bards has been my favorite.
Green’s: This comes in 3 different versions–amber, pale and dark. These are definitely beers no one would mistake them for anything else. I enjoyed the amber the best, well balanced not too much acid. Think of a plain ol’ Sam Adams done by the Belgians. My fiance likes the Dark the best with the deeper hints of coffee and more bitterness.
Toleration: British and please don’t drink cold. Nice hops! Great head and if it hasn’t been sitting on the shelf for a year and a day it will taste a bit sweet like a wine only with great carbonation.
Red Bridge is fine for a summer day when its hot and you can even find it on tap in places. I know it served in bottles at Washington Square Tavern in Brookline, Mass.
New Grist I felt was too bitter without enough depth to it, but again the gluten-free beers suffer from sitting on the shelf too long.
I’ve heard tell that there is a bonanza of gluten free beers in Belgium so part of me would love to go on a gluten-free beer tour there!
