This week I was able to list a gluten free bakery in Fishers, Indiana, and a restaurant that serves gluten free pizza in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Since my goal is to have all relevent information in the same place, I have included details in my articles about the two states.
Usually, these update articles are filled with good news about the every-increasing opportunities for those of us who live gluten free. However, today I must pass on two pieces of "bad news":
Starbucks has discontinued its only gluten free pastry item. Apparently it was not a big-seller. This is certainly a setback for America’s gluten free community. This article talks about plans that have been launched to get Starbucks to rescind its decision.
The link to the DaVinci Bakery and Cafe in Seattle, Washington, is no longer functioning and I have not been able to find an up-to-date one. I’ve enjoyed eating there several times and am hoping that it is reopening soon.
