Snapea Crisps…a Gluten Free Product Review

Comments Off 13 July 2009

PRODUCT: Snapea Crisps,  a salad snack. Made by baking green peas in the pod.

SOURCE: Whole Foods, Trader Joes, and similar stores

COST: Varies, about $3 per package

PREPARATION: Ready-to-Eat

GLUTEN FREE STATUS: Naturally gluten free. I reviewed this naturally gluten free item  because the taste and texture suggests that their might be gluten issues.

TASTE AND TEXTURE: Excellent. I am pleased and surprised that a vegetable snack could taste this delicious.

OK FOR WHEAT EATERS? Yes, my non-celiac grandchildren introduced me to this treat.

PAUL’S COMMENTS: This review is strictly an experiment. People who live gluten free should eat naturally gluten free foods and therefore I should be reviewing naturally gluten free items. In other words, I am faced with the impossible task of reviewing all foods.  Any suggestions??? Any naturally gluten free foods that I shoulde be reviewing? E-mail your suggestions or leave a comment at the end of this or any article.
