Gluten Free Chips and Crackers from Food Should Taste Good

I almost missed the chance to enjoy this gluten free product. When I see the word "MULTIGRAIN" in big letters on a package, it is easy to assume that the product is inappropriate for us. I’m glad I looked twice.

PRODUCT; Tortilla Chips (it’s a cracker too) by Food Should Taste Good. The package give you a choice. If I had to chose one, I would call them crackers.  There are eleven varieties. I sampled the multi-grain version.

SOURCE: Available on-line from the company website or from many retailers. Click here for more information.

COST: $4.99 at the company web site. Single-serving packets are also available.

PREPARATION: Ready to eat.

GLUTEN FREE STATUS: Certified gluten free by Fluten Free Certification Organization (GFCO). These products are also lactose free.

TASTE: Escellent.

TEXTURE: Also excellent. The fact that these items are both chips and crackers makes them rather filling. The texture is such that they would work with any dip or salsa.

OK FOR WHEAT EATERS? Absolutely. The taste is so unique that no one will focus on the presence or absence of wheat.

PAUL’S COMMENTS / RECOMMENDATIONS. Excellent. One feature that I really like is that these tortilla chips provide all the fun of that comes with munching on chips but are also satisfying enough to keep me from overeating. I’m glaqd they are available in single-serrving packets, great for travel, picnicing, or anytime when I need to pack a lunch. The website also includes a collection of recipes for dips and salsa.

These reviews are interactive. I welcome comments and will publish as many as I can. There are certainly dozens of brands of chips. Which ones do you prefer. E-mail me at gfceliac@gmail.com or leave a comment at the end of this or any article.
