I recently wrote about the positive aspects of the gluten free lifestyle and challenged my visitors to do the same. I’ve received two responses:
WRITER #1: "I have MORE energy and feel like I am doing something positive about my health. I am going down this path as a person with MS who is open to the possibility that there is a link between glutens and MS, so while I don’t have scientific proof, I do FEEL better. I’m also a thin person but I did have those last 8 lbs I wanted to lose and being G-F has really been a great way to turn down all the sweets people bring to work!"
My reaction: Feeling better is a positive thing, unless, of course, it is masking symptoms. "Gluten free" is indeed a wonderful excuse for avoiding things that we would prefer not to eat anyway.

Writer #2:"I just made a pan of gluten free chocolate chip bars and my joys is…that I get to eat the entire pan myself."
My reaction: It is good to be responsible for your own diet. Home baked goodies are almost invariably better than those purchased in stores.
