I was pleased to learn that whole meal bread is available to persons who follow the celiac disease diet. I thoroughly enjoyed the wholemeal bread produced by Glutano and available at The Gluten Free Mall. The slices were the right size and consistency for sandwiches. The taste reminded me of the wonderful breads I experienced during my years living and working in Europe.

In addition to being gluten free, this bread is dairy free, egg free, and kosher.  The shelf life is excellent, but we are advised on the package that the bread should be used "within three days once opened". My hunch is that this is why there are only ten slices in the loaf. Price is definitely a factor in deciding whether to purchase this bread.
