The Gluten Free Connection, a support group in central Iowa, publishes a lists of gluten free restaurant recommendations as well as a list of stores that sell gluten free products.

  The Red Avacado in Iowa City states on its website that "we offer a menu that can cater to the gluten free". Scroll down to the bottom of the page to read the restaurant menu.

Gluten free food shopping is available at Trader Joe’s in Indianapolis or at The Green Acres Natural Food Market in Council Bluffs, which offers "a wide variety of wheat and gluten free products".
