Gluten Free Rye-Style Bread

0 Comments 14 September 2008

First this important reminder: the gluten in rye is toxic to us. Therefore, there is no such thing as gluten free rye bread. Look for terms like “mock-rye” or “rye-style”. Wheat free rye bread exists — don’t be fooled by the difference. Fotrtunately, caraway seeds impart the same delicious flavor.

My favorite gluten free rye-style bread is manufactured by Really Great Food and is available from The Gluten Free Pantry.

Try these recipes  from RecipeZaar.com, and/or  Bigoven.com

This recipe is designed to be prepared in a bread machine.

Have a great day! Enjoy your rye-style treat.
