This Week at “Gluten Free…The Celiac Site”

7/19/08.  This week I added a new "Successful Celiac’s Guide" featuring information about foods that are both gluten free and casein free. One problem that I ran into was that some people use the terms casein free, dairy free, and milk free interchangeably. To other people, they are totally different. I decided that the best way to handle this situation was to include all three, using the same term used in the article to which I am linking you. Since the term "casein free" seem most popular, I used that term in my title.

I also revised my "Successful Celiac’s Guide to Independently Owned Gluten Free Restaurants". The problem was that the list was becoming so loooooooong that it would have been totally unusable before I collected information from all fifty states. So my new plan is to write a separate article about each state. Wherever appropriate, a place a link in this general guide to the "state specific" article.

What a wonderful problem to have!!!!!! When I started this site 2003, I was desperately searching for things to write about. Now I am concerned about overwhelming  you with too much information.I

I f you interested in my "state specific" articles, click the state’s name in the second widget (the one labeled Gluten Free America).

I discovered this week that the gluten free support group in Traverse City, Michigan,  now has its new website up-and-running. Tryit, you’ll like it.

Thanks for the NJ restaurants. None nearby but certainly will be worth the drive. Surprised how many in Conn.
