Dr. Schar’s Gluten Free Rolls (Hamburger Buns)
a Product Review

Comments Off 17 July 2008

Thanks to Dr Schar, I enjoyed a hamburger in a bun this 4th of July for the first time since I began the celiac disease diet in 1999. Another visitor at the party unintentionally used one of “my special buns” and was also pleased with the results. Toasting the bun improves the flavor and texture and is essential to avoid crumbling. I also used these buns to make garlic toast and was very please with the results.

These buns are gluten free, egg free, and dairy free. There are no preservatives, cholesterol, or added sugar. The rolls have an estimated shelf life of six months if they remain sealed, but should be used within a few days after opening.

I’ve become a great fan of Dr. Schar’s products as a result of my work in preparing this series of food reviews. As the teenagers say, “Dr, Schar rocks!” You might be interested in checking out my review s of Dr. Schar’s bread sticks, white bread mix, table crackers, and spaghetti pasta. Dr. Schar’s products are available at The Gluten Free Mall.
