Gluten Free at Wegman’s Supermarkets

1 Comment 18 June 2008

The Wegman’s supermarket chain serves Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Click here for specific locations. They publish an extensive list of gluten free products but apparently this only applies to their store brands. They also stock products from many of the major producers of gluten free food.

I do the majority of my shopping at Wegmans and love it!. Many of the stores carry alot of the same items. The name brand items (Glutino, EnjoyLife, etc) are in the section called Nature’s Marketplace and (usually) there are sunflowers all above the section so it can be spotted from a distance. All of their store brand products are clearly marked with a G if they are gluten free which makes things go ALOT faster when you don’t have to read ingredients on hundreds of products. One final bonus, the store brand prices are quite resonable.
