These fine restaurant chains supply gluten free menus, great food, and excellent service almost everywhere. The Outback and Chili’s serve the celiac friendly food in all fifty states and P.F. Changs serves 41 states. Click on the names for exact locations.
Gluten free menus are available in the restaurants but I prefer to study them from the internet. You will need to make choices and substitutions and its better to think about this ahead of time. Your waiter does not need to know that you already have a menu; asking for ione is the first step in starting your conversation about celiac disease and making sure that your waiting is able to help you. Chili’s seems to hide its gluten free information. Here’s how to find it:
- Choose any location. It doesn’t matter where, since the gluten free info is the same for all restaurants.
- Click and then scroll to the bottom of the new page until you see a button marked DOWNLOAD ALLERGEN INFORMATION.
- ·Click and scroll down to the bottom of that page. You’ve found it! (At least I hope so.) Note that Chili’s reviews this information month so be sure you have an up-to date list.
There are dozens of other restaurant chains that that post gluten free information on their sites as well as directions to specific locations, and have legal departments that will protect us all of us from unfounded promises about their gluten free food.
