A gluten free Mothers Day traditionally begins with breakfast in bed. These plans are generic enough to be gluten free as long as you have celiac friendly bread available. A site appropriately called Mr. Breakfast has great ideas, includes a poem titled “Mothers are Like Omelets”., and can be gluten free if you use gluten free bread, pancake mix, and granola. A project called “Bagel Portraits” provides great family fun as well as a gluten free breakfast (if you use appropriate bagels, of course).

The mega-site RecipeZaar lists 200+ recipes when you search for “gluten free" "mothers day". Wow! Making a decision about which recipe to use will probably be your most difficult problem in planning you Mothers’ Day feast.
