St. Patrick’s Day revolves delicious food and great beer. Fortunately, both are readily available for those living wheat and/or gluten free. You have several choices of great beer:

Redbridge Beer is produced by Anheuser-Busch and sorghum is used in its preparation. Since Redbridge is produced by a major American brewer, you have an excellent chance of finding it at a reasonable price. Click on the word Redbridge to find a location and enjoy the brew.
A wonderful honey lager beer is produced at the Ramapo Valley Brewery. There are a few local distributors, and it is available on-line.
Bard’s Tale Beer is produced by fermenting sorghum and is my personal favorite. Click on the beer’s name for a list of places that should have this beer in stock.

When you are purchase beer, remember that the problem ingredient in beer is barley. There are several wheat free beers available.
You’ll need some great Irish food and recipes are only a few mouse-clicks away. My first recommendation is Recipezaar’s collection of 40 Gluten free St. Patrick’s Day recipes. Their corn beef and cabbage is wonderful.
