Gluten Free Information at the Speed of Light:
Read Articles, Receive Updates, Use Guides

Posted on 8:08 pm by Gluten Free Guy

My job is to provide the information you need for a bountiful and productive gluten free lifestyle. To meet this goal, the information must be accurate, complete, timely, well organized, and delivered to you as quickly and effortlessly as possible. To achieve this goal, I have added three improvements to this site:

SUBSCRIPTIONS. In July 2007, I provided the opportunity to subscribe to this website. Here is part of  what I wrote at that time: “I invite you to subscribe to this celiac friendly website. Subscribers receive information whenever they open their computers and prepare to work on-line. For most sites (including this one), your home page will display a list of the three most recent articles at the site you have “joined”. Click on one of the titles and you will be moved to that site immediately. After you have looked at that article, you are welcome to visit other features of the site. The buttons in the middle of the center column will enable you to subscribe. If you use the standard Google, AOL, Yahoo, or MSN home page, click on the appropriate button and everything will happen automatically. If you use some other home page, there are so many possibilities that I can’t walk you through them.”

UPDATES. In January 2008, I began to offer “updates”. This simply means that  every time I add an article to the blog, you will receivean e-mail containing the first several sentences of the article and providing a link to my blog so that you can read the rest if and only if you chose to do so. Use the widget at the top of the middle column if you wish to receive updates. Be assured that I dislike spam as much as you do and will never share the information that you send me.

GUIDES. The first two improvements are computer-related and relatively straight-forward. The achievement that counts involves turning these bits and pieces of information into useful articles that will enrich and simplify your celiac experience. The first of these articles is called: “Restaurants Serving Gluten Free Pizza: The Successful Celiac’s Guide to Pizzerias”.  When I write anything about Gluten Free Pizza restaurants I will also summarize that information in the Guide.

Finding a gluten free pizzeria is a problem — but not the most important problem —  facing persons following the gluten free lifestyle. Frankly, I wanted to experiment by starting with a relatively simple problem. What Guides would you like to see in the near future? Send me an e-mail and I will do my best.
