Super Bowl Sunday is February 3, 2008. There will be lots of parties and therefore many gluten free food issues. Fortunately, Glutenfreeda has published a complete guide for a celiac friendly Super Bowl party including recipes and suggestions for staging a great party. It’s a “must” if you’re hosting a party and very useful if you will be bringing something to the party. (By the way, volunteering is the easiest way to make sure that you can enjoy at least some of the refreshments.)

  I debated for about 30 seconds and then decided to include Super Bowl Sunday in my article on gluten free holidays. It’s certainly  a nationwide feast day. It definately was a holiday when I worked in Europe as a civilian employee of the Defense Department. Because of the time difference, the game was broadcast in the middle of the night so very little work got done the following day. That’s a favorite memory of mine, and about my contribution to the world of Super Bowl trivia.
