This year I at least attracted some attention from my fellow bloggers. One person titled his or her article “Girl Scout Cookies — I Miss You my Friend”. That’s how I feel. I have many great sources for gluten free cookies; it’s the principle of the thing. Girl Scout cookies are a national ritual and I can’t participate. Oh sure, I can buy a few boxes, thus contributing to this worthy program, and then give the boxes away. But, …

Hello, I just read your comment's on the girl scout cookie situation and it is a sad problem . I have 3 grandaughter's and we alway's buy ton's of the cookie's but when the time rolled around to buy again after my grandaughter's celiac diagnosis we bought away but sadly gave away ! The recipe you spoke of for thin mint's from the glutenfreemom.com website is nowhere to be found .Did you ever try it as you said you might ? If so my little ones would love them ,i know they miss them .Please post the recipe if you could .Thank You So much for all you do here ! Sincerely, Nana
