Restaurants Serving Gluten Free Pizza:
a State-by-State Roundup

Gluten free pizza lives!!!!! Celiacs rejoice !!!! Here is the beginning of a state-by-state that tells you where to find pizza that satisfies:

ARIZONA, Northern: Picazzos Gourmet Pizza and Salads. These restaurants richly deserve their reputation for serving America’s best gluten free pizza; Click on the restaurant name for locations and gluten free menu. Click here for my reactions to dining at Picazzo’s.

CONNECTICUT, Stamford: Frascati Italian and Pizza. Site does not specifically mention that this restaurant is gluten free. I got this information from StillRiding Pizza, their supplier of  pizza crusts.

CONNECTICUT, Westport: John’s Best Pizza and Grille. I got the information about gluten free pizza from their supplier of gluten free pizza crusts.

FLORIDA, Deerfield and Ft. Lauderdale: Pizza Fusion. Many other locations are marked as “opening soon”.

NEW HAMPSHIRE, North Conway: Rafferty’s Restaurant and Pub. A full-service restaurant that includes gluten free pizza and other celiac friendly meals.

NEW HAMPSHIRE, North Conway: The Flatbread Pizza Company. Located at the Eastern Slope Inn. This recommendation is from a local celiac.

NEW JERSEY, Livingston: Calabria Pizzeria and Restaurant. My information about their gluten free pizza comes from their supplier of celiac friendly pizza crusts.

NEW JERSEY, Summit: Joe’s Pizzeria and Vittoria Restaurant. Here again, my information comes from their supplier of gluten free pizza crusts.

NEW YORK, New York: Risotteria. One of America’s foremost gluten free restaurants offers gluten free pizza baked on the premises.

NEW YORK, New York City: Slice. This pizzeria offer a build your own pizza opportunity; one of the options is a gluten free rice crust. There are obvious risks of cross contamination here, but this may be a great opportunity for some.

NEW YORK, Poughkeepsie: Soul Dog. Restaurant and bakery that features gluten free pizza as well other necessities for celiac friendly casual eating

PENNSYLVANIA, Bethlehem Township: Manny B’s Pizza. The gluten free selections are listed on the back of the menu. Click here for Manny’s location.

PENNSYLVANIA, Newton: Jule’s Thin Crust Pizza. Any medium sized pizza is available gluten free with any ingredient except sausage. Click here for the complete menu which also contains information for celiacs.

WASHINGTON, Seattle: Pizza Works. Located in the suburb of Bothell.

This list is less than half completed. I had no idea what a project this was going to be. I promise to finish it before the end of the month (today is 1/8/08). Click on the word PIZZA in the bar at the top of the page to return to this list. Watch it grow! Enjoy the pizza. I know I will.

The Pier 49 Pizza in Downtown Salt Lake City, UT has gluten free pizza. Call at least 20-30 minutes ahead of time to make sure they have the crust in. I found this out from the Gluten Free Utah newsletter. And I called the Restaurant to make sure.
