Goodies fresh and direct from a local bakery!!!!! Yes, this treat is available to the gluten free. Here’s my state-by-state list of the options that are available to you:

   ARIZONA, Phoenix/Tempe:  Gluten Free Creations — describes itself as a gluten free grocery/baker/deli.

  CALIFORNIA, Pleasanton:  Annette’s Gluten Free Bakery

COLORADO, Arvada: Rheinlander Bakery

  COLORADO, Denver:  Deby’s Bakery and Café,

  CONNECTICUT, Old Saybrook: Aleia’s Bakery

 MINNESOTAEagan: Bittersweet.

 MINNESOTA, St. Paul: Cooqi Bakery

NEW JERSEY, Millville: a branch of  Mr. Ritt’s Bakery  in Pitttsburgh.

  NEW YORK, New York:  Babycakes Bakery.

  NEW YORK, Brooklyn: Everybody Eats. delivery service throughout the New York City area, shipping available, direct sales from the bakery.

NEW YORK, New York: Rissoteria. One of America’s best-known gluten free restaurants also features baked goods.

  OREGON, PortlandKeanna’s Candyland  — site does not say that it is gluten free but I have eaten there and love its celiac-friendly relatively inexpensive baked goods.

 OREGON, Portland: Angeline’s Bakery.

  PENNSYLVANIA, Philadelphia: Mr. Ritt’s Bakery.

  RHODE ISLAND, Cranston: Ursula’s European Pastries, with more than 18 cakes to choose from.

WASHINGTON, Kent: Haley’s Corner

  WASHINGTON, Seattle:  DaVinci Café and Bakery — perhaps better known as “Wheatless in Seattle

 WASHINGTON, Seattle:  The Flying Apron

 WASHINGTON, Seattle: Sunny Valley Wheat Free

 WISCONSIN, Madison: Willy Street Cooperative — this is based on a recommendation from a local resident

WISCONSIN, Madison: Silly Yak Bakery and Bread Barn — gluten free baking days are Saturday and Tuesday

  WISCONSIN, Pewaukee (near Hartland):  Molly’s Gluten Free Bakery

  WYOMING, Casper: a branch of  Deby’s Bakery and Café  in Denver, Colorado.

  I’ve just scratched the surface in starting this list. These are small place that might not have attention-getting web sites.     I want to let you know of my new bakery in Superior Wi. I offer a wide variety of gluten free breads and pastries and also make fresh gluten free pizzas with housemade mozzerella. I have been open since June ’07.

    There is a GF bakery in Harvard MA called Peaches. They have great stuff – including a deli counter with Boar’s head meats. Very good!! http://www.peachesbakery.com/

  7. Please add Main Line Baking Co. to your list. It is a dairy-free, allergen-friendly and gluten-free bakery in Philadelphia. Their gluten-free cupcakes, cake, muffins, cookies – everything is so delicious you won’t believe its gluten-free.
