Gluten Free Pizza Available Nationwide

Posted on 8:17 pm by Gluten Free Guy

One day celiac friendly pizza will be available from at least one nationwide reataurant chain. I made that prediction a month ago and have since discovered that three different groups are striving to make that dream a reality. Believe it or not, this can happen: who would have believed five years ago that Redbridge beer would be produced by Anheuser Busch and sold nationwide at a reasonable cost.

If you have ever eaten at Picazzo's Gourmet Pizza and Salads you have probably left the restaurant daydreaming about moving to Arizona, only state where these celiac treasures are available. The good news is that they are making franchises available. If I was a young celiac with money to invest, I grab a franchise, build my dream restaurant, and be my own best customer.

Pizza Fusion currently operates two pizza restaurants in southern Florida but they have big plans — their website lists 19 restaurants listed as "opening soon". What an opportunity! Franchises are available!

Still Riding Pizza bakes pizza crusts which are already the basis for the gluten free pizzas served in 14 restaurants Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island. Here's an opportunity for restaurant owners to expand their business by attracting gluten free customers. Their website includes this page which should convince anyone in the restaurant owner that this would be a "smart move".

Are you curious about the name "Still Riding"? it is part of the title of this entrepeneur's favorite children's story which emphasizes the importance of persistence. I intend to read this story as soon as I can.  Celiacs need to be persistent. Every day we learn that there are more-and-more solutions to our problems.
