Picazzos Gourmet Pizza and Salads:
Great Gluten Free Restaurants in Arizona

3 Comments 21 November 2007

I left Picazzo’s Gourmet Pizza and Salads daydreaming about a scenario that would allow me to relocate to Arizona. I had just consumed the best gluten free pizza — and possibly the best gluten free meal — that I have ever tasted. The crust was excellent and I was able to order any medium pizza on their extensive menu. The toppings were excellent; Picazzo’s pizza crusts are wonderful and their toppings are exquisite.

My wife, who eats gluten free food primarily to placate me, loved Picazzo’s and we ate there three times during a one week vacation in Flagstaff. The desserts, appetizers, and salads that we had with out pizza were awesome. There was live entertainment on Saturday night. Picazzo’s is a great restaurant and celiacs are honored guests. What a rare and wonderful experience!

Picazzo’s operates eight restaurants in Arizona. Click here to read their gluten free menu which also lists addresses. I hope I’m there to see you. Have a great vacation. Count your blessings if you are celiac living in Arizona.

Picazzo’s Gourmet Pizza and Salads was everything that you read about here. The first pizza i’ve had in a year and it was what I’ve been dreaming about. My wife and kids could not even tell the differance between gluten free and not. The only thing missing is a Prescott location.
