Gluten Free Sun Bread by Garbo: a Product Review

Posted on 5:00 am by Gluten Free Guy

I enjoyed tasting Sun Bread, a gluten free product produced by the Garbo Company of Sweden and shipped frozen by the Gluten Free Mall. I'm not sure where the title "Sun Bread" comes from, but this bread certainly gave me a positive "sunny" feeling when I was enjoying it. It's firm texture makes it very appropriate for sandwiches. The flax and sunflower seeds in the crust and throughout the loaf gave it a very unique nutty taste.

This bread is wheat and gluten free, dairy free, kosher, and free of transfats and cholesterol. It is shipped frozen by The Gluten Free Mall and has an estimated shelf life of four months when kept frozen. After trying one loaf, I have made it part of my celiac disease diet.
