New Ideas: Gluten Free Cereals, Beer, and Cookies

I attended a celiac-friendly food demonstration at my local Whole Foods Market and as usual came away with a full stomach and lots of great ideas:
I finally found a cereal that not only looks like Cheerios — which I ate for breakfast almost every day prior to my diagnosis — but actually has a similar taste. The cereal is called Perky-O's and it is available from The Gluten Free Mall.
Pamela's Products now produces chocolate chip mini cookies and mini ginger snaps in a format called Simplebites. They are packaged in a resealable pouch and are — in my opinion — delicious. I am not aware of any way to purchase these delicacies on-line.
I tasted New Grist Beer for the first time. Great stuff! I also learned that it is stocked at Whole Foods Markets and is available on-line from Internet Wines. I updated my "Gluten Free Beer" article to include this information.
Living celiac never gets dull. Even after eight years of search, I find new foods and new ideas every day. Hopefully, I am helping you do the same. Send me your thoughts and ideas to me at gfceliac@gmail.com.
