Shop On-line … Buy Locally

This hint may simplify your gluten free food chores:
The list below includes twelve of America‘s leading manufacturers of "our kind of food". Go to their site and find what you are looking for. Then look at the manufacturer’s list of local outlets. Shop at that local decide if it is better to shop on-line or locally.(Remember that a shipping charge will be added to your on-line order.) I suggest that you copy the appropriate computer page and take it on your shopping trip so that you will be certain that you are actually comparing comparing identical items.
If you use this approach, you will be making decisions in the comfort of your home while studying a computer screen that was carefully designed to be readable. I suspect that most of the ingredients lists you see in the store are designed to be misunderstood or ignored.
Here is a list of America‘s leading producers of gluten free food. Click on the name to manufacturer to go their home page; this is the best place to start browsing. You may be able to find a local retailer on that same page. In the cases where this is not possible, I have included an additional link.

It’s a good suggestion to look on-line for local retailers. I’ve done that, especially for when we are going on vacation and might need a friendly store where we can stock up. Unfortunately I’ve found web site store locaters to be woefully out of date. Sometimes when I find the store, they haven’t carried that product in a couple of years.
Nice web site you’ve got here! Keep up the good work!
Unfortunately, I have to agree with you, but we need to use every trick at our disposal and sometimes this does work. What happens to me more often is that the store I am dealing with has a few products by the company in question but not the one you are looking for. While your at home, your local store will probably honor your request to stock the specific item but of course, you can’t do this while traveling. Good luck and thanks for the comment.
