There is a new completly gluten free food cart, GF Chef, located at the Green Castle Food Court on NE 20th & Everett. Since being diagnosed as a Celiac six years ago, Chef Jim has deveoped his own recipes for breads, pancakes, waffles, sauces and more. He carefully researches for only gf products for these items. The cart is open 10:00 am - 8:00 pm Wed. - Sat. And 10:00 - 4:00 on Sun. There are breakfast items, soups & sandwiches, and soon to come, dinners. Come and enjoy real food, gluten free.

You need to add Dick's Kitchen to the list. Phenomenal burgers, dogs and sandwiches. Founded on serving foods on the Paleo diet, the restaurant offers the leanest of locally, grass-fed meats and vegetables and serves them all gluten-free. http://www.facebook.com/DicksKitchen

How about New Cascadia Traditional GF Bakery: http://newcascadiatraditional.com/
Sublime sourdough and bagettes

Typhoon is a Thai restaurant that has 4 locations in Portland. They have a dedicated GF menu, and it is a huge menu. Just go in and ask for their GF menu... their Pad Thai and most their curry dishes are GF. They have GF deserts too. Also Belagio's Pizza now offers GF pizza; they even converted their kitchen to use rice flour on the counters instead. I eat Belagio's frequently and never have had a problem.

Also, Oba in the Pearl District has fantastic GF food. Seriously, go there, it's fantastic food.

The Deschutes Brewery Pub now serves their own gluten free beer (it's pretty darn good and apparently they will be bottling it sometime soon, too!!). Their food menu clearly marks which items can be prepared gluten free. The best news of all is that they have a gluten free hamburger bun (one of the best I've tried...a bit heavy, of course, but not too dry) and they make a pretty awesome burger!
