I enjoyed eating and reviewing Arico Gluten Free Cookies. I tried the chocolate chunk variety. The cookies also come in Almond Crenberry. Double Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Lemon Ginger and Triple Berry versions They have no transfats, no artificial preservatives, no artificial flavors or colors, and are advertised as a good source of fiber and calcium. Arico products are among the dozens of varieties of gluten free cookies available at The Gluten Free Mall.
As usual, I shared the cookies with my wife, my son, and his family. The cookies got mixed reviews. I think my wife's comment sums it up best: "better than most". My grandkids certainly did not behave like people eating "diet food".
One feature that makes these cookies unique is that they come in a reclosable zip-lock pouch, thus making them a convenient snack that can be taken anywhere and remains soft and chewy longer than many gluten free snacks.
People on the celiac disease diet need to eat to lots of gluten free cookies to brighten up their lives. Arico gluten free cookies will certainly become part of my celiac experience. Click on the picture at the top of the article if you are interested in purchasing these cookies.
