Gluten Free Independence Day

Red, white, and blue are the colors for July 4th, and this is certainly true for those of us must declare our independence from gluten:

Here is a recipe for a red, white, and blue gelatin salad which is naturally gluten free, and a tri-colored pasta salad that is OK if you use gluten free pasta. This article about red, white, and blue cakes is useful if you focus on is the decorating tips, not the gluten-toxic recipes.

You can even finish off your meal with a red, white, and blue dessert pizza. You will need to supply your own gluten free pizza crust. Click here for suggestions.

Here’s a complete plan for an Independence Day dinner. You will need at least one gluten free pizza crust and may wish to substitute a different dessert for the one suggested.
