If you've visited this site before, you have probably noticed that the format has changed. The posts in the left column is more-or-less what you are used to, but the middle and right hand columns have been modified to solve a problem. I'll try to explain the problem with an example:

My post Gluten Free Dining in Portland, Oregon, is (if I do say so myself) the best piece of internet writing I have ever done. On the other hand, it is totally irrelevant to those of you who live on the East Coast and plan to stay there. Or is it? Ten years ago when I was living in Germany I would have ignored that page, never dreaming that I would someday be living in the Pacific Northwest. Plans change!!!!!!

My goal is to set up this site so that it will grow daily or weekly for at least the next decade but still be well enough organized that you can find every bit of information that I have ever posted. How will I do this? I have only a vague idea. I'll tell you just as soon as I figure it out. I'll be posting many "How to" articles before this job is done.

FYI: The software I'm using right now is the third one I have tried and by far the best. However, none of these programs have any sort of "preview" feature. The only way I can see what I'm doing is to publish this on the internet for all the world (including me) to see. Have you ever read something on the internet that looked like somebody's first draft. That's probably exactly what it was.
