A celiac-friendly children’s Easter gift basket is available from WellBaskets.com. Apparently, the basket is a year-around offering since it can be modified for almost any holiday and their are different versions for boys and girls. You’ll need to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the basket that I am talking about.
Whole Foods Market has published recipes for marinated leg-of-lamb and traditional holiday ham. If you choose to use the ham recipe, read the first line of the directions carefully to note how to make the recipe gluten free.
Wild Oats Market also publishes a recipe for leg-of-lamb as well as a long list of recipes that would make great side dishes for any holiday meall. Click on the last sentence to read that list.
My favorite sugar cookies are made from the mix prepared by Cause You’re Special and distributed by The Gluten Free Mall. Click on the picture below to have a look at it. If that doesn’t suit your fancy, move to the categories list at the left side of the page and click on Cookies to see all the cookie mixes and cookie mixes that they offer.
My final suggestion is an Easter experience where children make cookies on the evening before Easter. Each step in the cooking process is related to steps to events in the death and resurrection of Jesus. This link leads to both the recipe and Bible lesson.
