Gluten Free Recipes Direct from the Source
05 February 2007
Gluten free recipes are featured on the website for most manufacturers of celiac-friendly products. These manufacturers want you to use both their products and their recipes and that is certainly a wonderful thing to do, but in many cases you may decide to purchase all your gluten free foods from a single source. That saves time and shipping costs. Here, in alphabetical order, are links to five collections that I consider excellent:
The Allergy Grocer is the on-line outlet for mixes prepared by “Miss Roben ‘s” as well as other gluten free food items.
Authentic Foods has an excellent collection of gluten free specialty flours and baking mixes. Their collection of recipes is equally impressive.
Bob’s Red Mill is America’s greatest source of grains, flours, and food mixes. Bob’s approach is atypical in that you first click on a product and then have the opportunity to read recipes using that item.
Enjoy Life Foods provides excellent gluten free bagels, breads, and cookies. Their recipe collection is worthy of your attention, and they also publish a brochure “Food Allergy and Intolerance Survival” guide which can be read on-line and obtained as “hard copy” from the company.
The Gluten Free Pantry has a huge recipe collection, manufactures many great gluten food products, and sells thousands of excellent gluten free products.
