Many fast food restaurant restaurant chains serve items with gluten free ingredients. That does not guarantee a gluten free meal. Too many dishes are prepared in too small a space by relatively untrained workers — cross contamination is always a possibility. But the situation is — as they say —- serious but not hopeless. Here is information, gleaned from websites, that will increase you chances of eating gluren free: “Quiznos” and “Jamba Juice” ignore our situation completely at least on their web sites. ”Burger King” and “Baskin and Robbins” mention wheat but ignore the problem of oats and barley. These chains publish lists that indicate that they have nothing to offer us: “Long John Silver’s”, “Bob’s Big Boy”, “Pizza Hut”, “Godfather’s Pizza”, “Papa Murphy’s”, and “Taco Time”. The lists published by “McDonalds” and “Taco Bell” offer us limited options. “Taco Del Mar” has a great list but it has not been updated since 2004.

I was diagnosed 4-years-ago. In just 4 years, information for people with Celiac disease has skyrocketed! Thank you so much for this site. I often wonder if I can eat at fast food places but haven’t had enough information.
I do know that gluten-free food does not equal gluten-free meal. An employee at a local McDonalds told me that even when a fryer is designated gluten free, flour containing ingredients fall into it.
Godfather’s now offers gluten-free menu at certain locations. There’s a chart on their website that indicates if it’s available at that store. Where I live there’s a few Godfathers and one offers g-free crust.
