As for taste, it was the Gold Medal Winner at the 2006 Great American Beer Festival in the Experimental Beer Category competing against 37 other "regular" beers. New Grist was the first gluten-free beer allowed to be called "Beer" by the U.S. Government. Bard's is fine beer, as is Ramapo, Schlafly and Dark Hills. These are Gluten-Free microbrews produced with care and attention for celiac friends and family. We're happy that there are now more options than ever for celiacs we will continue to innovate and produce the best tasting beers in the world.
