Ads on This Wheat and Gluten Free Site

0 Comments 09 January 2007

Have you ever wondered about the ads at this wheat free/gluten free site? I have very limited control over them. They are selected by a computer at Google.com. Advertisers pay for the privilege of advertising on sites like this one and Google shares some of that revenue with webmasters like myself.

Fortunately, almost all of the ads are useful to you and the fees I receive for posting them make it possible for me to spend a great deal of time working at this site. I’m also glad that you are already in the habit of reading everything carefully and making your own decisions. At times this will be a bit tricky. For example, Kellogg’s Special-K cereal contains wheat and yet it pays good money to advertise on this website.

I wonder what ads the computer will place on this post.
